Natalie Lifson and composer Jeffrey Schmelkin are turning "Lover of the Dawn," their hit one act musical from The Aurelians Collective's "Fountain of Youth" salon, into a full-length musical. Lover of the Dawn is a stylized immersive retelling of the tragic love story of Eos and Tithonus - the Greek Goddess of the Dawn and the Prince of Troy who lived forever but continued to age because when Eos asked Zeus to make her lover immortal, she forgot to ask for eternal youth. They will begin pitching in Fall 2023. |
