A half-hour comedy about intellectual property. ​

Life of the Author follows a family that has been scamming the government by pretending their dead relative, a famous author, is still alive so they’re still able to collect money from his intellectual property. Avril Lavigne conspiracy theories meets Harper Lee's hermit lifestyle.

Life of the Author aims to increase diversity on and off the screen, with a Black Jewish protagonist and a diverse team of writers, editors, and a cultural consultant.
A ​musical about the lives and loves of pieces of Furniture in a college kid's dorm room.
 
Protagonist Chair is in love with the human who owns it, but the college student does not know that Chair has thoughts or feelings at all, much less about Chair's unrequited love.

​Furniture: The Musical aims to improve gender diversity in theatre through gender-blind casting of all pieces of furniture.

​Market research shows that 80% of college and high school students would “consider watching a short comedy web show that validates [their] unique struggles as a student [during quarantine].”​

Teenage Conference Call's creators are all NYU students who chose this topic because it's something we would watch.
